It is considered an illegal slam, if you don’t bring your opponent safely to the mat. From what I see it is looks legal

New moves I have not seen before. They look like they should work with practice.

Yes. It wouldn’t make as much sense though, because you don’t get extra points for throws in folkstyle, and this is higher risk than a traditional single leg finish. You would only get style points.

In folkstyle wrestling a slam is when you “jump” in the air while you are getting a takedown. If you watch his feet, they are both planted whenever he throws. For a slam, they would both have to leave the ground. No part of you or your opponent can touch for a slam to count.

If you are an American then it could be considered an illegal slam. Those folkstyle rules are pretty far-reaching.
If you are doing freestyle (ie anyone in Canada, most people outside the US) just make sure not to take them directly over your head at school tournaments.
For club tournaments (with not school affiliation such as the National Juvenile Freestyle championships) you can send them straight over your head.

that will likely be up to the ref. in folkstyle, most refs will allow a slam if you go down to the mat with your opponent. however, I could see most stopping this because he is bringing him over the head.
